Fabled take hold of-up

It's years since I read most of the books in this series (2013). This has made me not only desire to re-read them but also the couple of newer ones that weren't out dorsum then.

This is a fabled fiddling catch-up and Nikolai still remains my favourite. I really need to re-read his books yet again.

These stories are mostly a tease. They are really short and only whet the ambition for more. Having already read Ivan, Dimitri, Yuri, Nikolai, Sergei and The Connolly Brother's--In Kelly's Corner and In Jack's Arms, I've been curious about Vasya and Ty's story. Ty'southward character has been established as confident, self and brutally honest. But Vasya remains a mystery. The rest of these short stories are all told from the Russian hero'south POV--except Vasya'south. Nosotros are given a tiny glimpse of his dominant, controlling (must exist a Russian mobster thing) personality, simply we still aren't in his head. And so I'm dying to read their volume.

I'm not entirely sure how I'thousand going to similar Danila'southward book considering that they are young'uns, only I KNOW Kostya's is going to be awesome. He'south bad. He's the hitman and the cleaner and if anyone on the crew has blood on their hands, it's Kostya. I can't wait to see how he makes things work with Holly. Roxie Rivera can't write fast enough--I'm totally hooked.

It was amazing reading this. I cried a lilliputian, laughed a chip and sighed more than times than I can count. It gave so many glimpses of what is to come, I'yard even more excited to keep reading the series.

Plus, I loved the glimpses at the heart of these big burly Russians.

I really had wanted to hold off on the Russians, because I was called-for through the series so quickly. And then I decided to start reading , unfortunately it takes place after , and though the spoiler was cipher surprising... it fabricated me realize that the potential for other spoilers were there, then I had to terminate reading... which meant I of grade needed to dive correct in to this one. I'm going to effort to leave Kelly's Corner for a piddling while longer, and read something completely unrelated, but i I really had wanted to hold off on the Russians, because I was burning through the series then quickly. Then I decided to offset reading , unfortunately it takes place after , and though the spoiler was cypher surprising... it made me realize that the potential for other spoilers were there, and so I had to finish reading... which meant I of course needed to swoop right in to this one. I'm going to try to leave Kelly'southward Corner for a little while longer, and read something completely unrelated, but it is then difficult to leave a book I've already started.

I honey the footling novellas, because they are generally 100% from the fella'south point of view. And what can I say? I'm a sucker for their insecurities and such like that.

Dimitri - It's a Wonderful Life: An adorable slice of life in the Dimitri/Benny world. They are moving into their new house, and they both desire to surprise each other. I actually practice get warm and fuzzies cheers to Dimitri.

Alexei - The Luxury Sleigh Ride: Alexei is a character I don't retrieve meeting earlier. It's possible that I did, and just not remember him. Either way, I practice rather look forward to his story.

Vasya - From Russia, With Dearest: Oh my goodness, I wasn't sure if we'd really get to see Vasya and Ty's story (as I hadn't looked at the rest of the series titles), considering not all authors are by and large brave plenty to throw a M/M story into their Rom Serial. I cannot wait until their story. Vasya is such a mystery.

Nikolai - All I Want For Christmas: Things are getting closer and closer to the explosion that volition be their human relationship. It makes me smile.

Kostya - Nine Ladies Dancing: I really look forward to Kostya'south book. It will be quite interesting I'thousand sure. He is not a good boy. Simply ooh it'll be an interesting ride.

Danila - Toys For Tots: A very immature member of Nikolai's crew, peculiarly considering so far, our boys in the series accept all been honing in on 40. I foresee quite a few mistakes existence made before he finds his feet.

Yuri - My Favorite Things: Sweet, but Yuri really is all about the wink and cash.

Ivan - 5 Golden Rings: Erin was less annoying in this ane, however... she still merely rubs me incorrect. Ivan thought about his back hurting because of how much he had to move the tree, and it merely nailed information technology that I however think she is a spoiled brat.

These stories are either picayune teasers for upwardly coming books or rather boring extra epilogues to books I've already read.

'Information technology's a Wonderful Life' Dimitri and Bennie prepare for the baby... beautiful but kinda boring.

'A Luxury Sleigh Ride' Alexie and Shay. He'south an ex underground fighter who at present owns several luxury car dealerships. Shay is one of the ladies who cleans the business at dark. I really enjoyed this but it is ultimately a teaser for Alexie's book #8

'From Russia, with Love' Ty and Vasya. MM.

'From Russia, with Love' Ty and Vasya. MM. Ty is Lena's business partner from 'Yuri'. Ty is a playboy, but Vasya wants something more lasting. Again, it's a teaser for an upcoming book. But Still enjoyable.

'All I Want for Christmas' Nikolai and Vivian. There's been a LOT of foreshadowing for their book and this teaser gets a wee bit tedious. I most feel like skipping their book(south)... but I know I'll read it sooner or later.

'9 Dancing Ladies' Kostya and Holly. Kostya lives a low profile in a suburban neighbourhood. He has a friendship with one of his neighbours, Holly and secretly covets her for more. But what would she think if she new he was part owner of a strip club and had ties to the Russian Mob? Withal, he is there when she needs him and kicks her no-expert date to the curb. Some other teaser, but I actually practise wait forward to this one!

'Toys for Tots' Danila and Maci
Maci is an eighteen year one-time living next door to Danny with her dead trounce dad, worn out mom and niggling siblings. Danny wants to give them a good Christmas so he makes sure the dead beat dad will stay at the casino and drops off some surprise gifts for the kids. It's pretty short and beautiful but nothing much.

'My Favorite Things' Yuri and Lena
Reads like a extra epilogue

'Five Gold Rings' Ivan and Erin
Some other read like an actress epilogue... blah blah apathetic

'A Brilliant, New Start' Sergie and Bianca.
This is too a picayune introduction to another book in the series, yous guessed it, Sergie's volume. Pretty boring really.

Loved all the stories were the couples haven't got their mates even so in this series. Dimitri and Ivan' s were skilful also. The others were simply okay. If you discover the series late like me and you are hooked like me this is a overnice book to get a a footling scrap of sneak of the new characters that they are coming into life with their new books only also to see how oldies one does and all. I still have a sweet spot for Dimitri ;)

I beloved how all these alpha Russian domineering men love and protect their mates. The female mates may succumbed to their dominant partners but they are pretty tough themselves. These females are alpha cloth. All these characters lives crisscross like everyday people. Information technology's like shooting fish in a barrel for me to love all these characters with all their past traumas and all that their futures promise.

Enjoyed the follow upwardly in the characters lives of the first novels in the serial. Will there be a novel on Niels?

Great selection of stories of your favorite characters. No cliffhangers and happy for now. Russian Protector series is a great add to your library.

Groovy novella. Definately recommend for anyone a fan of the series as it shows how another characters run into there heroines. The just downside it's non very Christmas.

I've read all the full current books in Roxie Rivera'due south Her Russian Protector serial and so when I was looking at the remainder of the series to see if I wanted to read any of the novella'south A Very Russian Christmas stood out the most for me as it was a little bit of a wrap upwards for the kickoff three books in the series {Ivan, Dimitri & Yuri} and a bit of a prequel for the other six books fifty-fifty though Nikolai and Sergei's books are already out now I still found it an enjoyable read, especially for the side by side books in the series.

It's a Wonderful Life, Dimitri and Benny have bought their own house and Benny is heavily pregnant and they're and then super happy almost the side by side steps in their life they tin't help but tear each others clothes off. Sweet but rather sickly in a nice way!

The Luxury Sleigh Ride is Alexei and Shay'south story and I am oh so very excited for this one. It was super sweet and lovely and I tin can't expect for their actually full length story. Out sometime this year!

From Russia With Honey is Vasya and Ty'due south story and information technology was very sexy and sweet for a m/m which isn't my usual loving cup of tea.

All I Want For Christmas is Nikolai and Vivian'southward story and I'm so glad I read their story earlier this or it would have annoyed me because you don't quite go why Nikolai won't make a motion but it's nonetheless a sweet introduction to these two. Who are currently my favourite couple in the series.

Nine Ladies Dancing is the prepare-up to Kostya and Holly's book and was a really sweet and interesting read considering up until now we haven't seen as well much of Kostya. He's been bit of a mystery and I like the set-up for his book very much. Excited for July 2014!

Toys for Tots is Danila and Macy'south story and while I really loved their introduction it was so sweet and heartbreaking and I take my fingers crossed that their story turns out alright in the finish, I'm not sure about this one considering Macy is very young and Danila isn't that much older, nigh vii years I think and then I don't know if Ms Rivera volition do their story young or make them wait and grow up a bit. Either way their story is meant to be out this twelvemonth.

My Favourite Things is Yuri and Lena and it was a very Yuri and Lena story. I don't know how else to depict this one.

V Gilt Rings is Ivan and Erin, another 1 which is sweetness and a little flake sickly just however lovely and not unexpected either.

A Bright New Start is of class the showtime to something betwixt Sergei and Bianca which I did relish even though I've read their full story. Which I enjoyed an do recommend.

A Very Russian Christmas is a great read whether yous're a fan of Ms Rivera's Her Russian Protector series or not and I didn't find it to be over Christmas-y either. Then I could read information technology and savour it outside of the Christmas catamenia.

Five Golden Rings (IVAN) awe my favorite Russian. He is the ultimate alpha male, WOW. Ivan and Erin spend their starting time Christmas together opening presents, cuddling and being happy. Erin gives Ivan photo album filled with erotic poses of her in scantly clad outfits for just his viewing. Ivan has a surprise for Erin, he has a very of import question to ask her. It's so sugariness and romantic.
A Bright, New Offset (SERGEI) Ahhh... Sergei, such an alpha male merely a sweetheart. He wants Bianca and he sees a Bright and new beginning with her.

A Very Russian Christmas was an enjoyed read. I absolutely loved reading about all the couples and the ones that will become couples. I CAN Non Expect for Nikolai vol ii, Sergei Vol. two, Kostla, Alexei,Danila and Vasya'south books. I am so looking forrad to these books. WOOHOO!!!!

Perfect fiddling snippets focused on nine of the Heros of the series. I would highly recommend reading the books in order for the most enjoyment. This was a wonderful peek into the first Christmas in the books. Lots of sweet moments and a previews of books to come. Wonderful.

I think the story I loved the best was out of these first three is Dimitri'southward. Benny and him are going to have a family unit and just seeing how he is with her but made me beloved him more.

We also got to meet piddling bits of what the upcoming books are going to be well-nigh, Alexei, Vasya, Nikolai, Kostya, Danila and Sergie. This was such a tease and I'thou not sure which volume I'1000 excited about diving into more. It's currently tied betwixt Nikolai and Sergie with Vasya running a very close second or 3rd depending how you look at it.

I am loving this serial and I loved this book of short stories and I tin't wait to keep with the sexy Russians. It a big v Stars from me....Sara

If you are a fan of the Russian Protector books, then you lot will dear this drove of short stories. The glimpses into the lives of the v couples whose books are already out were fun. I like how they give you a glimpse at how things are progressing for them. I liked how nosotros get a look from Nicoli'southward perspective, since prior to this all we hear are that other people think he wants Vivian. The first story in this series has nothing to and then with Christmas, so I'thou non sure how information technology fit in the collecti If you are a fan of the Russian Protector books, and then you volition love this collection of short stories. The glimpses into the lives of the five couples whose books are already out were fun. I like how they give yous a glimpse at how things are progressing for them. I liked how we become a expect from Nicoli'due south perspective, since prior to this all we hear are that other people remember he wants Vivian. There where some grammar bug in the novel that hopefully will be fixed in a later edition. The bad part about the collection exciting the reader for these novels is that the author is already a yr by her stated publish appointment. Unfortunately, co-ordinate to her website, readers take longer to wait because all three books publication dates are at present listed as to be determined. Although well written like all her other books, I would recommend not buying this one, if y'all have not already. All information technology does is introduce the couples over again. If you have read all 5 books already y'all can do without this one. If you have not read all the other books in the series and so this a good one to read.

Although well written like all her other books, I would recommend not buying this one, if you lot have not already. All it does is introduce the couples again. If y'all accept read all 5 books already you can practise without this one. If yous take not read all the other books in the serial then this a skillful one to read.

From Russia, With Dear, (VASYA and TY)- this couple was a shocker for me, I did not know there would exist a Male/Male story. So will take to see what that one is like.

Nine Ladies Dancing (KOSTYA and ABBEY) - information technology was squeamish to be introduced Kostya's love interest.

Toys for Tots (DANILA and MACY) - new couple to me so it was prissy to meet them.

Looking forrad to the 4 new romances.

A Very Russian Christmas is Roxie Rivera's 3.5 book in Her Russian Protector series. This book definitely shouldn't be read as a stand up solitary book. It features follow-up stories of the starting time three books in her series and stories giving a hint on future plots in the series. I admittedly loved this book. It was great catching upwards with Yuri, Ivan, and Nikolai. And I as well loved reading about the future main characters. All the time to come stories audio great but I am definitely looking forward to Alexei's A Very Russian Christmas is Roxie Rivera's 3.5 book in Her Russian Protector series. This book definitely shouldn't be read as a stand up alone volume. It features follow-up stories of the first three books in her series and stories giving a hint on future plots in the series. I absolutely loved this book. It was great catching upward with Yuri, Ivan, and Nikolai. And I as well loved reading about the future main characters. All the future stories sound groovy only I am definitely looking forrad to Alexei'southward story crusade I am a huge fan of May-December romances.

Definitely recommend this book if y'all are a fan of Roxie Rivera'due south series. If you oasis't read them, give them a gamble. They are all very adept.

This book was similar getting additional or bonus scenes from the books already released, plus getting snippets on books releasing in 2014. I dear all these characters and the world they live in. All the men are dreams, only I think Nikolai is my favorite. I can't look to read more about him and Vivian. But I'm but as excited to read almost all the others characters and their lives (i.due east. weddings, babies, etc.). I'g also enjoying the Fighting Connolly'south spinoff serial.
